    LPKS “Latraps”

The agricultural services cooperative “LATRAPS” was founded on April 22, 2000, and was registered on May 9, 2000. Its founders are 12 farms from the Dobele and Jelgava regions. LPKS “LATRAPS” has grown from a 12-member enterprise into the largest grain/rapeseed growers’ cooperative in the country, thanks to the fact that the cooperative is open to any grain/rapeseed grower. Currently, LPKS “LATRAPS” brings together more than 700 farmers across Latvia. The farms’ cultivated areas range from 20 ha to as much as 4,000 ha.

All farmers are united by one common factor—the belief that farmers can solve agricultural problems and promote their own development through their own efforts.
